Optimization of product development processes by coordinating timing, processes and responsibilities as well as the introduction of a PLM system to secure all relevant data.
Situation
Following a reorganization, the product development team's processes were uncoordinated and responsibilities were unclear.
There was no PLM solution, which led to a high risk for the timely and successful development of the collection. A PLM system was selected and the implementation project started.
Our approach
We carried out a global analysis of the PLM requirements and defined the target process, including clear responsibilities, in PWorkshops; a small team of experts set up the system and the setup was checked and finalized with a key user team. The PLM system was then implemented and the key user structure was established for long-term support.
