Situation
Lufthansa needed support with IT procurement, particularly for strategic projects and large IT outsourcing deals. There was a need for interim resources to relieve the internal teams and achieve cost savings on IT projects.
Our approach
We provided interim resources to support the internal team in managing strategic IT procurement projects.
Our team supported the commercial clearing process of a large IT outsourcing deal and leveraged retail experience to deliver efficiencies and cost savings in the implementation of mobile devices for flight attendants.
In addition, we supported the equipping of all aircraft with mobile internet in order to make more efficient use of operating time and ground time.
We also supported various procurement projects in the areas of IT infrastructure, software and professional services - from determining requirements through to contractual negotiations.
