Imperial Brands - Reemtsma commissioned us to manage the local implementation in Germany and Austria as part of a global HR restructuring. The aim was to optimize processes and systems in the People & Culture department and at the same time harmonize global specifications with local requirements.
Situation
The company overhauled its global HR operating model to ensure more efficient support for its workforce. The focus was on improving HR processes, the Workday environment and the introduction of a self-service portal with ServiceNow.
Our approach
As project managers, we coordinated the local implementation and ensured that local characteristics were integrated into the global strategy. We optimized the Workday and ServiceNow platforms for the specific requirements of the German and Austrian markets, and our team conducted workshops and training sessions to ensure a smooth transition, with a particular focus on stakeholder management to effectively represent local interests.
Results
The project significantly improved HR efficiency at Imperial Brands: the introduction of global processes and digital self-services enabled faster, more efficient workflows. More than 1,600 employees now use the new system with over 100 self-service articles and thanks to our support, the company was able to modernize operational processes, reduce costs and increase employee satisfaction.
