System Testing & Implementation
Order
Management and support of several projects for the introduction of the TRIRIGA facility management system, including responsibility for system testing, quality management and data migration.
Situation
ISS, one of the world's leading providers of facility services, has signed the largest software development and implementation contract in its history. The complex changeover required extensive adjustments and process optimizations to ensure that the system implementation runs smoothly and without major interruptions.
Our approach
Our approach focused on clear communication, lean processes and efficient resource allocation. In doing so, we covered several areas:
- Testing: Carrying out tests to ensure a smooth go-live. Troubleshooting, reporting and re-tests were among the core tasks.
- Release management: Implementation of structured release processes to reduce the number of system changes and minimize disruptions after go-live.
- Reverse business engineering: Optimization of business processes by tracing unclear test specifications back to clearly defined business requirements.
- Program and project management: monitoring the entire system landscape to ensure consistency and integrity. Support with the introduction of the RIB solution ITWO4.0 as a new platform.
- Business capability heat mapping: Identification of business-critical capabilities and optimization potential along the value chain.
- Reverse Solution & Data Architecture: Revision of solution and data architectures to simplify processes and ensure complete data migration.
- Data migration: Development of ETL processes (extract, transform, load) for the successful migration of master data and transaction data without data loss.
- Operational readiness: Definition of governance standards and organizational structures for sustainable operational readiness.
