Development of a best-practice approach for the optimized use of QR codes at the point of sale to convey targeted messages along the consumer journey.
Situation
The client has a global presence in shop-in-shops and uses QR codes on packaging and shelf displays to inform consumers about product features and system benefits, but there was a lack of insight into the performance of the QR codes and the company was unable to respond to behavioral changes or provide personalized messages to individual consumers.
Our approach
We analyzed the existing use of QR codes and conducted a workshop to present best practices and market insights to the client.based on the consumer journey, we created a service blueprint framework that identified friction losses and opportunities.for each topic, findings and recommendations were formulated to derive concrete measures.
