BRIEF

A leading pharmaceutical company planned a new, modern city district that will open at the end of 2026.

SITUATION

To revolutionize the user experience, the development of a digital ecosystem was commissioned that would provide tenants, visitors and companies with seamless access to services such as building access, workplace booking and event management – all via a centralized web app.

OUR ROLE & APPROACH

Our team developed a comprehensive concept that is tailored to the diverse requirements of the users. By creating 19 detailed personas, segmented into 7 behavioral groups, we were able to ensure that the needs of all users – from office workers to restaurant guests to event attendees – were addressed. Each persona was accompanied by precise user journeys that mapped every point of interaction with the app's front-end and back-end systems to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.

We worked closely with the client to conduct workshops that refined requirements and managed the complexity of the project. These workshops allowed us to identify potential technical challenges early on and develop solutions, including the integration of third-party providers such as security systems and payment gateways.
 

As we progressed, we helped the client select the right technology partners by conducting SWOT analyses of the suppliers. This led to an informed, low-risk decision on the optimal suppliers to deliver the project efficiently and on schedule. Our collaborative workshops also provided risk mitigation strategies that ensured the project remained on track at all times.

 

A crucial element was the definition of user roles and access rights to ensure the security and flexibility of the system. This allowed for a clear assignment of rights for different user groups, so that the app is secure and intuitive to use.

OUTCOMES

The structured and user-centered approach resulted in a clear development plan supported by comprehensive user journeys and a targeted selection of suppliers. This ensured that the digital ecosystem would meet the client's high standards and provide an inclusive, modern experience for all users of the new city quarter.
